I am a specialist in Nano Materials and Devices, with a particular emphasis on the growth of single crystals in two-dimensional (2D) materials and fabrication of devices for electronics and optoelectronics applications. I have practical experience in the development of high-quality single crystals of a variety of 2D materials through the use of advanced techniques such as chemical vapor transport, the Bridgman technique, chemical vapor deposition, pulsed laser deposition, and solution-based methods. I am also proficient in the use of lithography-based techniques to create devices, including field-effect transistors (FETs), photodetectors, heterostructures, and flexible devices. In 2008, I earned a B.Tech. with Distinction in Biotechnology from Anna University. Followed In 2010, I obtained an M.Tech. in Nanotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Subsequently, I pursued my Doctoral Dissertation at the Nanoscience and Technology Program-Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan University, Taiwan, and graduated in 2016. Following that, I served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at various departments and center within National Taiwan University for around five years (2016-2021). Then, I spent more than two years as a Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (2021-2023). Upon my return to Taiwan, I resumed my research as a Research Specialist at Academia Sinica (2023-2024). I commenced my new role as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Nanotechnology in Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee from September 2024. I was awarded a Plum Blossom Card in 2024 that holds permanent resident status and a Gold Card in 2022 from the Immigration Department of Taiwan for my research works and contributions to Taiwan. I was also awarded the Junior Research Investigator (2024)  from Academia Sinica.
